Teen madness for Viagra

Viagra, the drug for erectile dysfunction (ED) has become a craze among teenagers. Adolescents often opt for the erectile dysfunction drug to improvise their sexual performance and machismo. Most of the time, they get the drug through online pharmacies without a prescription. Teens notice increasing use of Viagra at a local party or club.

It’s surprising that Viagra, the older man’s drug, has earned a place among the young partiers. It has become practically recreational without anyone noticing. A lot of younger men take it in hopes of improving performance and stamina when it comes to sex. This growing trend in youth is becoming a cause for concern as it can cause serious damage to the health of its users.

The worst part of this current trend is that teens and twentysomethings take Viagra with club drugs like ecstasy. Although ecstasy can increase energy and provide the desired effect, it decreases a man’s ability to have an erection, as does alcohol, which also does the same to a man’s sexual abilities. Using Viagra for a cocktail of drugs restores virility because the main biological action of the prescription drug is to increase the production of nitric oxide necessary to stimulate blood flow to the penis.

The result is that many young people, and more than a few in their 30s, 40s and over, are suddenly more capable of having sex when it is less advisable. Viagra works for four to six hours, which only prolongs the time to make reckless decisions late at night, such as not using a condom, which can often lead to sexual infections such as HIV (AIDS) and genital herpes.

Another problem with using Viagra is that some men, usually older men, may inadvertently mix the heart medication with nitroglycerin and the sexual function medication. This combination can create potential blood pressure irregularities. So it is wiser to use erectile dysfunction drug to treat erectile dysfunction, otherwise it can prove fatal to the health of its users.
