Modern citizens consume high-fat foods that contain less fiber and drink carbonated water instead of plain water. And due to this lifestyle, constipation is very normal among these people, which forces them to make a chronic effort when defecating.

One theory that supports my opinion is that constipation is the result of drinking less water and consuming less fiber-laden foods. This results in hard stools during bowel movements and you need to push harder to get them out. Now this fecal matter goes through the anal canal and drags the hemorrhoidal pads down and there is a good chance that it will rupture the tissues.

Pregnancy is another cause of hemorrhoids, although the reason is unclear. And that is why women who have given birth are prone to hemorrhoids.

To prevent hemorrhoids, you need to slightly change your lifestyle. Start by eating less fast food and more high-fiber foods. Fruits are another good food source and prevent constipation. Drink at least 8 glasses of plain water every day and exercise regularly to get your body fit for prevention.

When you have a hard stool, try not to strain yourself on the toilet bowl. Instead, let it out naturally if you can. Otherwise, eat fruits before you go to defecate. After defecating, try not to use toilet paper as it is rough in surface and can aggravate developing hemorrhoids. Instead, pack a pack of non-alcohol-based wipes and gently and carefully clean your anal region.

By understanding how hemorrhoids develop and their causes, you will undoubtedly help prevent most of the nasty hemorrhoid diseases such as thrombosed external hemorrhoids. These hemorrhoids are really painful in nature and in some cases sitting in a chair or walking can be a problem.
