Mozilla Thunderbird’s default settings simply allow you to set a signature for all your email correspondence. The least you can do is use the signature template or configure your settings every time you send an email to a different group. Once you’ve installed Quicktext, you’ll notice an icon added above the message window where you can choose from a dropdown list of message templates arranged in different groups. Once you have installed the extension, close Thunderbird and reopen it. Go to Write to see the message window and you will find a new dropdown menu just above it. Go back to Tools and select Quick Text to start setting up your message templates.
