Quick Text Thunderbird – How to install and use Quick Text

Mozilla Thunderbird’s default settings simply allow you to set a signature for all your email correspondence. The least you can do is use the signature template or configure your settings every time you send an email to a different group. The solution to this is to learn Quicktext Thunderbird: How to Install and Use Quick Text, a Mozilla Thunderbird extension that lets you choose from a list of email form, variable, and signature templates.

Once you’ve installed Quicktext, you’ll notice an icon added above the message window where you can choose from a dropdown list of message templates arranged in different groups. You can also set variables for your first and last name, subject lines, and other information that you can pull from your address book. The great thing about this is that you can even configure which attachments you want to send to multiple sets of recipients.
