Smok Nord 2

The Smok Nord 2 is a really impressive device, it’s easy to use, refillable and comes with an easy to navigate wattage system. It’s also a great looking pod-style device and has an OLED screen that shows concise vaping data, including battery life and wattage settings.

It has a 1500 mAh battery, which is significantly bigger than the original smok nord 2 and you should expect to get at least a full day’s worth of use from it. It can be charged from empty to full in around an hour and features pass through technology, so you can still vape while it’s charging.

SMOK has used the same two air inlets that are found on the original Smok Nord, but the body is wider to allow for higher wattage usage and larger clouds. A simple clip holds the battery and pod together, and various safety safeguards are in place to ensure a safe vaping experience, including an 8-second cutoff, low voltage protection, pod identification and short circuit protection.

Does the Smok Nord 2 Have Any Safety Features?

Coils are available in the standard MTL range or a wider selection of RPM coils, which offer higher power outputs. You can also purchase a RBA coil kit (sold separately) for more advanced flavours and vapor production.

You’ll find a 4.5mL capacity pod in the box, and you can choose from two different models to suit your needs. One is clear plastic to fit the RPM DTL series of coils, while the other is a darker shaded plastic that fits the standard MTL Nord coils. The pods are a push-fit system so you don’t have to worry about them screwing into place, and they are designed to hold a hefty amount of liquid.

The pods are made from high-quality plastic and the mouthpiece section is made from a rounded zinc alloy. It has a high gloss finish and is a real joy to use, with a design that feels natural in the mouth. It’s easy to fill and reseat the coil in the Nord 2. To do this, you simply pull the tank out of the device, turn it over and remove the top piece. The bottom of the tank has a hole for the coil and there’s a rubber flap on the side that opens to reveal the fill hole for your e-juice.

This is a simple process that takes a few seconds. You’ll want to make sure you don’t put the tank back in without closing it completely. If you do this, you could end up with leakage, so it’s important to reseat the coil when you’re ready to refill your e-liquid.

Changing your wattage is a quick and easy task too, as the Nord has an adjustment button that you press 3 times quickly to cycle through the options and then either hold down or press again to confirm. This is a great way to easily change your power level and avoid accidentally firing the device.
